Luiza Fragoso Teodoro has been appointed CEO of Verlingue Portugal, reporting directly to Anne-Jacques de Dinechin, CEO of Verlingue. In her role as CEO, Luiza Teodoro will oversee the management of Verlingue in Portugal, focusing on development and sustainable growth across all sectors of activity.
With 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Luiza Teodoro brings extensive knowledge of the sector and business operations. She holds a degree in Economics and began her career at the former Champalimaud Group, gaining experience at Mundial Confiança and Tranquilidade in bancassurance, marketing, channel management, and both individual and corporate business roles. In 2018, she took on the leadership of MetLife Portugal's independent agent and broker channel, joining the insurer's Iberian Management Committee in 2020, where she was responsible for managing and leading the agent and broker channel in the Iberian market.

This appointment is part of Verlingue Portugal's continuity plan, established in March 2021 when the company was fully acquired.
